Billy Johnson has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, starting in 1998 at Able Aerospace Services as a Repair Development Engineer/Lead Engineer, overseeing the development of unique repairs for rotorcraft and fixed wing parts. Billy then transitioned to Erickson Incorporated in 2005, holding various roles such as Project Engineer, Senior Structures Engineer, and eventually becoming the Chief Engineer. In 2008, they also worked at Erickson Air-Crane as a Rotorcraft Drive Systems DER. Throughout their career, Billy has demonstrated strong expertise in engineering, leadership, and project management within the aviation field.

Billy Johnson graduated from Arizona State University in 1999 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Billy also obtained a certification as an FAA Designated Engineering Representative from the Federal Aviation Administration.
