Akhil Gokul

Akhil Gokul is an experienced technology executive with a robust background in leadership across multiple organizations. At Ericsson, Akhil served as Vice President and Head of Technology for both the Americas and North America from November 2024 to April 2025. Previously at JMA Wireless, Akhil held several pivotal roles, including Vice President of Technology Strategy and Head of Engineering, from July 2021 to November 2024. Akhil's tenure at Ericsson from December 2016 to July 2021 included positions such as VP, CTO - Core, Cloud & IT for Customer Unit Verizon and Head of Technology Transformation. Before entering these roles, Akhil worked at EchoStar Corporation as a Senior Competitive Intelligence Specialist and served as a Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth College. Akhil holds a Master of Engineering Management from Dartmouth College and completed the Elevate Program at Hult Ashridge Executive Education focused on leadership development.
