Asad Ali Awan

Asad Ali Awan is a highly experienced Principal Database Administrator at Ericsson since February 2022, overseeing the End-to-End Transition of Infrastructure Scope for the Back Office Transition Project for MTN Rwanda. Key responsibilities include managing diverse databases and systems encompassing Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and various storage solutions. Prior to Ericsson, Asad served in several roles, including Database Administrator at Arcana Info and Soloinsight Pvt Ltd, where tasks included managing MySQL databases and middleware projects. With extensive expertise in administration and replication of databases across multiple environments, Asad has also contributed significantly to telecom fraud detection solutions at Teralight and ERP systems at Kohinoor Textile Mills. Asad holds an OCP in Database Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, complemented by progressive roles from Database Officer at the National Highway Authority to technical positions in various organizations.
