Bassem Alphonse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and network solutions, currently serving as the Director of New Product Introduction (NPI) at Ericsson since May 2014. In this role, Bassem oversees the introduction of new products to the Canadian market, enhancing service delivery through process improvements and key performance indicators. Previously, as Network Program Director, Bassem was pivotal in launching Rogers' 5G network and conducting demonstrations of the pLTE network with various vendors. Bassem also led significant projects for Etisalat, including the first 5G commercial network in the Middle East and the modernization of the network with a team of 150 members. Earlier career experiences include senior roles in project management and network rollout coordination at companies such as SIAE Egypt and Ericsson Egypt, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficient project execution. Bassem holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication from Ain Shams University.
