Calvin Lai

Calvin Lai has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Manager of Application Development at Ericsson since August 2009, where their role involves leading projects that enhance telecom services for operators. Prior to this, Calvin Lai spent over a decade at Sprint Nextel in various capacities, including Team Lead for System Analysis, where oversight of a team focused on managing significant operational expenses, and co-leading the integration of network planning functions post-acquisition, which resulted in substantial savings. Early career roles included Network Engineer III and Senior Access Analyst, contributing to the establishment of the first nationwide wireless PCS network and a fiber optic SONET network. Calvin Lai holds a Master's Degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's Degree with double majors in Finance and Management Science from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
