Fawad Ud Din

Fawad Ud Din is an experienced professional in the field of wireless communication and system development. Currently serving as a 5G Baseband Systems Developer at Ericsson since June 2021, Fawad has a rich background that includes leading a research team at Lahore University of Management Sciences on a significant PKR 11.79 million project, where innovative cooperative communication techniques were designed and evaluated. Fawad also held positions as a research assistant at Aalto University and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, contributing to mobile internet traffic data analysis and network simulations. Additionally, Fawad has interned at various organizations, gaining insights into project development and testing. Fawad holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, and a Master's degree in Communication Engineering from Aalto University. As a doctoral researcher, Fawad designed and developed novel techniques to enhance the secrecy of wireless communication, earning accolades such as the McGill Engineering Doctoral Awards.
