Ferhat Karakoç

Ferhat Karakoç, Ph.D., is a Master Researcher in Security and Privacy, currently teaching Network Security and Security for Cloud Computing at Istanbul Technical University. They have previously served as a Senior Security Researcher at Ericsson, focusing on privacy enhancing technologies and collaborative machine learning. With experience as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank, Ferhat developed information security policies and conducted security analysis for in-house projects. Additionally, they held various roles in cryptology at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, where they contributed to the design and performance evaluation of cryptographic algorithms. Ferhat earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2014.
