Glen Chen is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure and virtualization. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Calix since January 2017, Glen specializes in core infrastructure. Prior to this, as a System Architect and Engineering Manager at Ericsson since January 2006, Glen led the technical development of the Ericsson Virtual Router and NFV Data Center, focusing on OpenStack NFV orchestration and software virtualization. Glen's earlier roles included Principal Software Engineer at Redback Networks, where responsibilities encompassed system architecture and performance for the SmartEdge800 product, and Member of Technical Staff at Siara Systems, where foundational development and test infrastructure were established. Glen began the career as a Systems Consultant at Fiberlane Communications, providing product research and development for network management software.
