Gustav Åkesson

Gustav Åkesson is a seasoned Software Architect at Ericsson with 15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. They specialize in creating secure, reliable, high-performance distributed systems using Java and Golang, and have led the design of systems that serve over a billion users globally. Gustav's expertise includes cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, as well as extensive experience in virtualized environments such as VMware and OpenStack. Previously, they worked at Capgemini Sverige AB and Cogitel AB, and served as a teaching assistant at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, where they contributed to Java and C++ programming courses. Gustav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Blekinge Institute of Technology.
