Ibrahim Eldeftar

Ibrahim Eldeftar is the Global Head of Solution Line Cognitive Software and Services at Ericsson, leading the development of its Telco Artificial Intelligence portfolio. Previously, they managed various programs including the Network Optimization launch and have held leadership positions across multiple regional teams in the Middle East and Africa. Ibrahim also contributed to research and development as a Visiting Scholar at imec and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo, where they played a key role in establishing Egypt's first Nanotechnology research center. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University and a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from The American University in Cairo.
