James Loo

James Loo is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in wireless communication systems, currently serving as a Senior RF Systems Designer at Ericsson since 2009. They have a rich background in the development of cellular radio products, encompassing the entire lifecycle from design to deployment in 2G through 5G technologies. Prior to their role at Ericsson, they worked as a Senior 4G Wireless RF Systems Designer at Nortel, where they led design efforts for LTE access products. Earlier in their career, James served as a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada, focusing on electronic warfare and radar systems for military applications. James holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from The University of British Columbia.
