Joakim Ålgårdh

Joakim Ålgårdh, PhD, is an experienced Global Product Manager currently serving as Program Manager for Operations Excellence at Ericsson, where they oversee operations and drive compliance activities. Previously, they led external research and IP strategy at GE Aerospace, and served as Senior Product Manager, managing the P&L for GE’s Additive Manufacturing product line. Joakim's academic credentials include a PhD in Material's Technology from Uppsala University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Chalmers University of Technology. Their extensive research background in metal additive manufacturing includes roles as a Senior Researcher at Swerim AB and an Adjunct Researcher at Högskolan Väst.
