Joel Halpern

Joel Halpern is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Notable positions include Distinguished Engineer and Principal Technologist at Ericsson, Principal Engineer at Redback Networks, and Consultant as a self-employed professional. Joel served as CTO at both Megisto Systems, Inc. and Longitude, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering teams and co-founding initiatives. Joel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 1975 and 1978.
