John Griffin

Griffin is the Chief Executive Officer of Ericsson Ireland, leading operations and engagement with the Irish Government; the Irish operation employs about 1,500 people in R&D, Services, and Sales, and Griffin orchestrates multi-year contracts with telecommunications operators in the UK and Ireland. Griffin also serves as the client lead for VodafoneThree in the UK. Griffin is a Governing Body member and Audit and Risk Committee member at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest since 2021. Griffin previously held roles at Ericsson Ltd., including Head of Training and Services (1990–1999) and Sales Director (1999–2009). Griffin completed education at The Institute of Directors from 2019 to 2020.
