John Power is an experienced expert in automation within cloud-based Open RAN, currently serving as the WG2 Co-Chair at O-RAN Alliance since 2019. From 2005 to 2022, John held various significant roles at Ericsson, including Head Product Owner for Self Organising Networks and Senior Specialist in O&M architecture. In prior experiences, John contributed to the OECD Halden Reactor Project as a Student Placement. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing from the Waterford Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1993.
