Johnny Karout

Johnny Karout is a European Patent Attorney and Senior IPR Commercialization Manager at Ericsson, where they focus on innovation management, intellectual property rights, and business strategy. They co-founded Optium and JR Group and have served as a guest researcher at prestigious institutions such as Bell Laboratories and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. They hold a PhD in Communication Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, where they also earned a Licentiate and Master of Science in the same field, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Lebanese American University.
