Mirko D’Angelo is a Senior Researcher and Project Manager in network management and automation at Ericsson. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Linnaeus University, Sweden, and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with honors from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” Italy. Their research interests focus on autonomous and self-adaptive systems, emphasizing AI in distributed systems. Mirko has filed over 30 patents related to cognitive networks and advanced AI/ML procedures for 5G and actively participates as a technical committee member at leading international conferences. Previously, they served as a Ph.D. student and research assistant at Linnaeus University.
