Moorthy V

Moorthy V is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in VLSI and FPGA development within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Director FPGA at Ericsson since July 2025, Moorthy V previously held the position of Director FPGA Development for Mavenir's 5G radio product group from September 2021 to June 2025, overseeing RTL/FPGA design and validation teams. Prior roles include Wireless Solution Architect at Xilinx, Squad Group Leader at Nokia, and Technical Architect at Mavenir, with a history of expertise in 4G/5G technologies, architectural design, and team leadership. Moorthy V's career began at Central Research Laboratory Bharat Electronics Limited, contributing to various telecom platforms, followed by significant roles in hardware engineering and development at Ikanos Communications and Nokia. Moorthy V holds a Master of Engineering in VLSI Systems from NIT Trichy and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Sastra University.
