Muhammad Khan

Muhammad Khan is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Director of Software Development at Ericsson since April 2010, Muhammad oversees planning, development, and support for Native and Virtualized MSC/MGCF within Tier 1 customer networks. Prior to this role, Muhammad held the position of Director of GSM/UMTS/LTE Core R&D, focusing on core network solutions for major customers in North America and globally. Muhammad's earlier tenure at Nortel spanned from September 1988 to March 2010, where responsibilities included directing the Core Network R&D for GSM/UMTS and managing major software releases. Muhammad holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications and Computer Networking from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
