Peter Ackerfors

Peter Ackerfors is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Head of Power Solutions at Ericsson since April 2011. In this role, Ackerfors oversees the development of power-related technologies, including DC/DC and AC/DC Power Design for Ericsson Radio Systems. Previous positions at Ericsson include Manager of CoS & TCO, where responsibility encompassed Cost of Sales and Total Cost of Ownership management, as well as Manager Project Office, providing leadership to a team of Project Managers. Ackerfors also held managerial roles focused on business support, predevelopment, and field performance of radio products in R&D based in China. Prior to Ericsson, Ackerfors worked as an R&D Manager and General Manager at Ericsson from 2000 to 2010 and as a Sales Manager at W.L Gore & Associates from 1988 to 1997. Ackerfors holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications from Tekniska Vuxengymnasiet, completed between 1978 and 1982.
