Rhys Mataira

Rhys Mataira is currently the Head of Ericsson PSIRT, having previously served as the Incident Response & Threat Intelligence Lead at Ericsson from 2021 to 2023. With a robust background in IT security, Rhys held roles such as Principal IT Security Specialist at Griffith University, Director at Real Life Gaming, and Team Leader at Southern Cross University. Rhys also managed the IT Workshop at The Printer People and contributed as a Project Technologist at Australian BioRefining. Rhys holds a Bachelor of Cyber Security with a focus on Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from Deakin University, completed in 2020.
