Rodrigo Morgado

Rodrigo Morgado has extensive experience in software development and innovation within the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Head of Software Development at Ericsson Telecommunications since July 2007. In this role, Rodrigo leads the New Business Development and Innovation at the Ericsson Latin America Innovation Center, emphasizing the development of software solutions on open platforms, particularly in the realms of smart cities and IoT. Prior to this, Rodrigo held various positions at Ericsson, including Software Development Manager and Master Software Engineer, contributing significantly to major network transformation projects. Rodrigo started their career at Venturus Centro de Inovação Tecnológica and Software Intelligence Ltda, where responsibilities included system development and engineering roles. Rodrigo holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
