Rong Hu is currently the Head of Product Engineering Unit 4G, 3G, 2G at Ericsson, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as the Head of Product Performance and Capacity for Network Systems and Verification at Ericsson AB from 2019 to 2023, and held various leadership roles within Ericsson, including Head of Customer Adaptations and Head of Baseband SW Product Development. Rong began their career at Ericsson Research as a Researcher and advanced to roles such as Principal Research Engineer and Master Researcher, contributing significantly to global research initiatives. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communications Engineering from Zhejiang University between 1999 and 2002.
