Samir Ayachi is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Head of Integrated RAN Product Engineering Group for North America and Deputy Head of the Ottawa Site at Ericsson since November 2009. Samir has also held the position of Head of 5G Software Development Group in Ottawa and Austin and previously worked as a manager at Nortel from August 1995 to November 2009. Early career experiences include roles as a software designer at Duet Technologies and NIIT in the early 1990s. Samir holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Education was completed at Frank Anthony Public School from 1974 to 1988.
