Suzanne van der Merwe

Suzanne Van der Merwe is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Regional Compliance Officer EMEA and Compliance Manager at Ericsson sub-Saharan Africa since January 2014. Prior to this role, Suzanne held the position of Senior Advisor in Procurement Quality Assurance at Eskom Holdings SOC Limited from April 2013 to October 2013, and worked as a Legal Advisor at Famous Brands from January 2012 to March 2013. Earlier in her career, Suzanne gained experience as a Candidate Attorney at Maritz Smith Van Eeden Inc from January 2010 to December 2011. Academically, Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Stellenbosch (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from the same university (2003-2006).
