Yigit Akkus

Yigit Akkus is a Master Developer in Thermal Design at Ericsson, where they focus on developing innovative cooling solutions for telecom equipment, particularly in the context of 5G and beyond. With previous experience as a Lead Thermal Design Engineer at Aselsan, Yigit contributed significantly to thermal management for both military and civilian applications in the defense industry. They hold a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, along with a Post Doctoral Fellowship from Southern Methodist University. Yigit is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, actively engaging in research and publishing extensively in the field of thermal science.
