Yousaf Gulzar

Yousaf Gulzar is an experienced ASIC Architect with a strong background in digital design and verification, particularly in mobile and communication technologies. From February 2011 to March 2017, Yousaf served at Ericsson, initially as an ASIC/FPGA Designer before progressing to Team Lead, managing a multicultural engineering team and ensuring effective IP delivery across various projects. Following this, Yousaf worked at ARM from April 2017 to September 2019 as a Senior Engineer in Video HW Design, leading the design of Mali Video IPs for high-end mobile and set-top devices with a focus on performance and power efficiency. Yousaf's early career included a role as a Research Engineer at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master Thesis internship at INRIA, with expertise in re-configurable architectures and on-chip jitter measurement. Yousaf holds an M.Sc in System on Chip Design from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
