The brand Erlau emerged from the Erlau AG, founded 1828 in Aalen. The Swabian house of ideas develops and produces in Germany and markets its products worldwide. It is a subsidiary company of RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG, which was also founded in Aalen in 1875, making it part of the internationally successfully positioned RUD family business.
