Alex Hood is a seasoned environmental leader currently serving as a Partner in Mining at ERM, with over 20 years of global experience in environmental management. Previously, Alex held various roles including Director of Closure and Legacy at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited and Environmental Superintendent at De Beers Canada Inc. Alex served on the board of Women in Mining Canada from 2019 to 2022 and has worked in multiple capacities within environmental and ecological fields, such as a Senior Fisheries Management Biologist and Natural Heritage Educator. Alex holds a Master's Degree in Biology and a Master of Business Administration from Royal Roads University, alongside an Honours Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.
