Ali Boroumand

Ali Boroumand is a Hydrogeologist and Environmental Engineer currently serving as a Consulting Director at ERM, specializing in the analysis of chemical transport and fate in the environment. Previously, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tufts University, where they integrated mathematical modeling and conducted laboratory experiments to study reactive contaminants. Ali also held positions as a Senior Environmental Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Gradient and served as a Lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona. They began their career as a Design Engineer at SBR Consulting Engineers and worked as a Project Geotechnical Engineer at Hexa Consulting Engineers, focusing on hydrologic calculations and geotechnical design. Ali earned a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, from Iran University of Science and Technology.
