Carol Thompson

Carol Thompson is a Senior Vegetation and Wetland Specialist with over 25 years of experience in vegetation and wetland ecology. Currently, they work at ERM, applying their expertise in rare plant surveys, wetland assessments, and ecosystem classification. They previously held positions with companies such as Amec Foster Wheeler, SaskPower, and Vertex Professional Services, contributing to environmental impact assessments and management plans. Carol also owned a consulting firm in British Columbia and has been involved in various training programs related to ecological assessment and classification. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of British Columbia and have completed several relevant training courses in wetland policy and assessment.
