Dr Mark Davey

Dr. Mark Davey is a seasoned environmental professional currently serving as a Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since January 2022. With previous roles including Associate Environmental Planner at Arup and Principal Environmental Consultant at Attexo Group, Dr. Davey has extensive experience in environmental management spanning over a decade. Key positions held include Team Leader for Sustainability and Climate Resilience and Planning & Assessment at SMEC, as well as Planning & Approvals Manager for nbn at Telstra. Notable achievements during tenure as Environmental Manager at Nautilus Minerals involved leading the development of environmental management plans for the Solwara 1 project in Papua New Guinea and conducting environmental impact assessments across the Pacific region. Dr. Davey holds a PhD in Marine Science & Climate Change from The University of Queensland, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Marine Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science (Aquatic Ecology) from Central Queensland University.
