Gene Chu

Gene Chu is a Principal Consultant-Scientist at ERM since October 2024, previously serving as an Associate Technical Consultant-Water Scientist at Worley and as an Environmental Scientist at Matrix Solutions Inc. for eight years. With a strong background in environmental monitoring, hydrometrics, and spill response, Gene has managed projects, budgets, and timelines, providing technical support to clients. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Field Technologist at Golder Associates, leading field campaigns, and roles at Environment Canada focusing on hydrometric data and wildlife management. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The University of Lethbridge and a degree in Renewable Resource Management from Lethbridge Polytechnic.
