Hossein Mehdi

Hossein Mehdi is an aquatic scientist and ecologist with over a decade of experience in environmental research. They completed their MSc and PhD studies focusing on the impacts of wastewater on aquatic communities, including fish and benthos. Hossein has held positions with organizations such as Environment and Climate Change Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, contributing to significant research initiatives like the Biological Use Impairment report for Hamilton Harbour. Currently, they serve as a Managing Consultant at ERM, overseeing aquatic environmental monitoring projects. Additionally, Hossein is a Registered Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio) with expertise in aquatic ecological assessments.
