Irene Bopp

Irene Bopp is a Partner at ERM, where they focus on enhancing the sustainable mining business and ensuring compliance with international financing institution standards. With over 18 years of experience in environmental and project management, Irene has specialized in Environmental, Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for large-scale mining and infrastructure projects. They hold a BSc. Hons and an MSc. in Aquatic Health from Rand Afrikaans University and the University of Johannesburg, respectively. Previously, Irene has held various leadership roles at TopUp Consultants, Atkins, RPS Group, Digby Wells and Associates, and Nemai Consulting, demonstrating a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and community engagement throughout their career.
