James Cother

James Cother is a seasoned professional in environmental planning and management with over 20 years of experience. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at ERM, James previously held significant roles at Roads and Maritime Services, where responsibilities included project management and strategic planning for maritime projects, and at the Environment Protection Authority South Australia, where leadership in container deposit scheme reform and complex environmental assessments was established. Additionally, experience as a Development Officer and Senior Planner at various councils contributed to a solid foundation in strategic land use planning and development policy. James holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management from Flinders University and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of South Australia.
