Jo Howes

Jo Howes is a Partner at ERM, a position held since May 2021 following ERM's acquisition of E4tech, where Jo served as Principal Consultant from April 2015 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Biofuels Strategy and Issues Advisor at BP from October 2011 to March 2015, focusing on emerging issue management, business strategy development, EU regulatory affairs, and sustainability communication. Jo was also a Managing Consultant at E4tech from September 2002 to November 2011, specializing in bioenergy, innovation, and energy systems. Jo holds an MSc in Environmental Technology with a focus on Energy Policy from Imperial College London and an MSci in Materials Science and Metallurgy from the University of Cambridge.
