Juan Simonelli currently serves as an ESG & Sustainable Finance Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since January 2020, providing strategic thought leadership on technical and business issues. In addition, Simonelli has been an Interviewer for the Alumni Schools Committee at Yale University since January 2018 and an Advisor to Court on Environmental Affairs for the Poder Judicial de la Nación since September 2011. As a Lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina, Simonelli facilitates seminars on ESG and environmental criteria. Previous roles include General Director of Environmental Assessment for the Buenos Aires City Government, Chair of the Basel Convention Implementation and Compliance Committee, and Senior Consultant with UNDP/UNEP. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Yale University and multiple degrees in environmental engineering and project management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
