Lance Cooper

Lance Cooper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and public policy. Currently serving as Partner and Principal Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since February 2018, Cooper previously held the position of Senior Project Manager/Partner at Michael Pisani & Associates, Inc. from June 2013 to February 2018. Cooper's academic experience includes a role as Visiting Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013 and Director of the Conflict Management Center at Syracuse University from 2011 to 2012, where responsibilities included leading conflict management training and research teams. Cooper's earlier career includes significant roles at ERM from 1988 to 2006 and CH2M HILL as a Graduate Engineer. Academically, Cooper has a Ph.D. in Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy and Organizational Theory from Syracuse University and holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering, respectively.
