Matthew Irvine

Matthew Irvine is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Director of Offshore Wind Advisory at ERM since October 2019, focusing on global transaction advisory services for offshore and onshore wind and solar projects, particularly in the US. Prior roles include Director of Wind & Solar Transaction Advisory at The Renewables Consulting Group, where Matthew shaped the global strategy for wind and solar, and Director of Wind & Solar Advisory Services Americas at Wood, overseeing comprehensive business operations across Canada, the US, and Latin America. Additional experience includes roles as Technical Sales Manager for offshore wind at Areva and Wind Turbine Engineer at SSE plc, following a prestigious start as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Matthew holds an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, along with a project management module.
