Michael Mangiante is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as Partner and Global Climate Risk Lead at ERM since April 2018. With a robust background in climate risk and physical risk management, Michael has held various leadership roles within the Climate Risk Team. Prior to ERM, experience at the US Environmental Protection Agency included serving as a Renewable Energy Subject Matter Expert, where Michael developed tools for solar investment evaluation and led significant GIS projects. Additional consultancy work at American Rivers involved advising on water resource management strategies. Michael's educational background includes a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Villanova University, complemented by research and internships focused on hydrology, ecosystem restoration, and environmental impacts of land use.
