Michael Ottaviano

Michael Ottaviano is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Managing Partner for Asia Pacific Renewable Energy at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since August 2020, where responsibilities include leading initiatives in wind, solar, battery storage, and hydrogen. Previously, Michael held the position of Partner in Charge of ERM's renewable and low carbon energy business in Australia and New Zealand. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Carnegie Clean Energy from 2006 to 2018, overseeing global development and delivery of wave, solar, and battery projects. Michael's roles also extend to non-executive directorships and board memberships at various organizations, including Tall Bob and Screenwest. Michael's educational background includes a Doctorate in Business Administration focused on Innovation Management from Swinburne University of Technology, a Master's in Material Science and Innovation Management from Hamburg University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from Curtin University.
