Nicholas Walker, PhD, is a hydrologist with a focus on planning and designing climate-resilient water infrastructure. With 20 years of research and consulting experience, Nicholas obtained a PhD in Hydrology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2005 and is a registered Professional Natural Scientist with SACNASP. Currently, Nicholas serves as a Principal Consultant in Hydrology at ERM and holds previous positions including Research Manager at Partners in Development and Water Resources Specialist at Aurecon, working on significant projects across several African countries. Additionally, Nicholas has been an Extraordinary Senior Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape and has contributed to various research initiatives related to climate change and sustainable water systems.
