Ricardo Petersen

Ricardo Petersen is a Principal Consultant in Ecotoxicology at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, where they oversee active substance and product dossiers in accordance with European regulations. They completed a Licentiate degree in Biology at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa in 2008 and earned a PhD in Entomology from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2015. Over the years, Ricardo has contributed to various national and international projects focused on biodiversity and biocontrol of pests, resulting in 11 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Bayer Crop Science, knoell, and Biosani, and served as a PhD researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária.
