Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor is a seasoned expert in sustainable energy solutions, notably serving as the Technical Consulting Director at ERM since August 2021, where responsibilities include developing the UK's Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard and overseeing the £165m Advanced Fuels Fund. With a strong background in low carbon transport fuels, bioenergy, and negative emissions, Richard has significantly contributed to various projects and policy advisories, including a tenure at the Committee on Climate Change as a Senior Analyst. Prior roles include Principal Consultant at E4tech, Managing Consultant at the same firm, and a part-time Director at Renewable Energy Development Group Limited, a family-owned windfarm development company.
