Sam Foster is a prominent figure in energy research and consultancy, with extensive experience in both academia and industry. As a co-founder of the Imperial College Energy Society, Foster established the largest university-based energy network in the UK by connecting over 1,300 students with academics and industry professionals. Foster's career includes roles as Associate Director and Senior Consultant at Element Energy, visiting research in solar cells at Sumitomo Chemical, and a research assistant at Imperial College London focusing on renewable energy technologies. Foster's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London and a Master's degree from the University of Cambridge, complemented by collaborative research across Europe, Japan, and China. Currently, Foster serves as a Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management.
