Sarah MacKay

Sarah MacKay is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in environmental management, particularly in groundwater remediation and contaminated land solutions. Currently serving as a Technical Director and Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since February 2015, Sarah focuses on climate change and water. As a Director at Beyond Hope, Sarah oversees financial operations since 2000. Previous roles include Vice Chair, Chair, and former chair of NICOLE Service Providers, where Sarah contributed to strategic direction and working groups. With a strong background at WSP Remediation and WSP Environment & Energy as a Senior Technical Director, Sarah has led regulatory negotiations and set technical strategies. Earlier in career, experience at Atkins involved organizational culture change, while at URS Corporation, leadership included managing operations in Belgium and the UK and developing contaminant modeling. Sarah holds a PhD in Geology from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Leeds.
