Stephen Witzmann is a seasoned environmental engineer with extensive experience in environmental investigation and remediation. Currently serving as Principal Environmental Engineer at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since 2011, Witzmann previously held the position of Divisional Director at Jacobs Engineering, where notable achievements include managing the design of The Avenue remediation project, one of Western Europe's most challenging. Witzmann's earlier roles at Jacobs Engineering included Environmental Project Manager and Environmental Engineer, focusing on environmental investigations in Alaska and the design of groundwater treatment systems. Additionally, Witzmann served as Operations Officer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, leading combat engineers during the Persian Gulf War and earning a Bronze Star. Witzmann holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a BS in Environmental Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
