Toby Whincup

Toby Whincup is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of consulting and strategic experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as the Global Director of Critical Minerals and the Managing Partner for the Asia Pacific Mining Sector at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), Toby oversees a wide range of projects, focusing on environmental and social licenses, due diligence, and management of legacy issues. Previous roles at ERM include Managing Partner for the ANZ Impact Assessment & Planning Practice, Managing Partner for the Western Australia operations, and Managing Partner for the Vietnam office, where Toby successfully expanded the team and services offered. Toby began a career at the Waters & Rivers Commission as a Hydrogeologist after earning a degree in Geology from The University of Western Australia.
