Tugce Sahin

Tugce Sahin is an experienced professional in geology and geo-data analysis with a robust academic background, including a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto. Tugce served as a lecturer at both the University of Toronto and Durham College, teaching various geology courses to undergraduate students. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Natural Resources Canada, Tugce focused on mineral exploration research within the North Atlantic Craton. Subsequently, Tugce enhanced machine learning models for MineSense Technologies Ltd. to improve mining profitability while reducing environmental impacts. Additional early career experience includes a role as a Project Engineer at AECOM International Engineering and Consulting, where Tugce contributed to environmental assessments and contamination mapping. Currently, Tugce is a Senior Consultant and Scientist at ERM.
